Tips for using On-Line Quoting:
- This facility is extremely competitive for standard accounts. While on-line quoting is not most effective for the harder to place accounts, Mercator excels at these tougher accounts. Please refer to the Account Guidelines below, and let us know if you need assistance with a non-standard account. You can submit accounts to us any way you choose.
- If you want alternative proposals from other markets please see the Alternative Proposals section below. We have the markets to meet your needs.

1-4 Family Dwellings (Commercial Lines) - Quote-It-Now!
We write single locations or schedules. Property limits are available up to $750,000 per location in protection class 1-8. Owner occupied dwellings are acceptable as long as one or more units are tenant occupied.
Apartments - Quote-It-Now!
We target single or multiple location apartment buildings up to 100 total units. Our broad eligibility includes swimming pools, fitness centers, clubhouses, lakes/ponds, playgrounds and sport courts.
Artisant / Trade Contractors - Quote-It-Now!
This product is specifically designed to accomodate over 30 eligible Artisan and Trade Contractor classes who undertake or manage one or multiple phases of a construction project and subcontract less than 50% of the work. New construction or remodeling of Commercial and Residential Structures are all eligible subject to $500,000 in annual payroll and $1,000,000 in annual sales. Our specialty is new ventures and we offer Blanket Additional Insured Coverage at a maximum cost of $300 on an annual basis.

This product is designed to fill the needs of the small business owner with up to $3,000,000 in sales. Property Coverage is offered with no Coinsurance Clause and with Loss of Income on an Actual Loss Sustained Basis (with maximum limit). Professional Coverage is automatically included on select classes.
Child Care - Commercial - Quote-It-Now!
We provide comprehensive coverage for commercial child care centers including Nursery Schools, Head Start Programs, Montessori Schools, and Before and After School Care. Our superior coverage automatically includes Professional Liability as well as Medical Payments that includes children enrolled in the center for no additional charge. Employees are considered insureds for Defense Cost Reimbursement Coverage as well as Molestation and Abuse Coverage on most centers.

Our product targets aerobic studios, corporate fitness centers, independently owned fitness centers, franchised fitness centers and express fitness centers. Incidental massage services and/or tanning operations are eligible. Coverage automatically includes Professional Liability and Molestation and Abuse coverage. Coverage also automatically extends to child sitting services, up to four sport courts, jacuzzis, hot tubs, as well as saunas and steam rooms. We also offer preferred pricing for 30 minute Circuit Training Facilities, Pilates and Yoga Studios.

This product provides comprehensive coverage for the unique exposures faced by today's residential and commercial contractors. Eligible risks include those where up to 50% of their operations include floor waxing. We offer a number of coverages vital to the janitorial services industry such as General Liability, Property, Contractors Equipment, Rental Reimbursement, Lost Key Coverage, Property Damage Extension Endorsement, Independent Contractor's Coverage and Blanket Additional Insured Endorsement.

This product is specifically designed for land that is not vacant, but is leased to others for use. This product targets applicants seeking to cover a Lessor's Risk exposure for their land. Coverage available for up to 1,000 acres per location, lakes and ponds up to 25 acres in size, and land being used for: equipment storage or vehicle parking, auto sales lots, building on the premises, animal grazing, crop farming, athletic fields, and hunting.

This product is specifically designed to accommodate the coverage and pricing needs of over 70 classes of mercantile exposures. New venture risks are eligible.
Mobile Home Parks - Quote-It-Now!
This product is specifically designed for Mobile Home Communities with up to 150 home sites per location. Coverage is available for Mobile Home units that are owned and leased to others. Significant credits are available for those risks with no leased units and where the community/property manager lives on the premises.
Residential Condominium Unit Owners - Quote-It-Now!
This product is designed for the owner who owns units within residential condominium associations for rental purposes. These units can be rented to others on an annual or seasonal basis or occupied by the insured, as long as it is not their primary residence. Our Basic Version offers General Liability and essential Property coverages such as Loss Assessment and Improvements and Betterments. Our Deluxe Version offers a broader range of property coverages to best suit the insured's needs.
Restaurants - Quote-It-Now!
We offer monoline or package coverage including Liquor Liability for restaurants, bars, gentlemen's clubs and night clubs. Operations with major entertainment as well as new ventures are eligible. Property limits available up to $750,000 for bars and night clubs and $600,000 for restaurants.

You can quote a wide variety of instructional schools online including but not limited to: athletic instruction, cooking classes, dance schools, music training, and tutoring services. All schools are rated on sales. Coverages include General Liability, Property, Medical payments, Professional Liability on most classes, and Molestation and Abuse on many classes.

Office classes such as Accountants, Advertising Agencies, Answering Services, Draftsmen, Insurance Agencies, Medical Offices, Real Estate Offices, Telemarketers, Ticket Agencies and more… Any risk presenting primarily an Office exposure and with limited to no off-premises exposure will most likely fit this product!
Truckers - Quote-It-Now!
This product is designed to accommodate the needs of a wide variety of trucking risks including but not limited to Gravel Haulers, Log Haulers, and Coal Haulers. New ventures are eligible and we offer the Blanket Additional Insured Endorsement. This product is non-auditable as coverage is priced on a per unit basis up to 20 units.
Vacant Building - Quote-It-Now!
Our product covers vacant commercial and residential buildings, condominium units and rental spaces, as well as partially vacant buildings. There is no restriction on the length of vacancy and we consider renovations. Flexible policy terms of 3,6,9 or 12 months are available. Special Form and Replacement Cost is available for buildings 25 years old or newer.
Vacant Land - Quote-It-Now!
This product targets applicants owning up to 1,000 acres at any one location that is completely vacant, not leased to others, and has no construction activity scheduled to occur during our policy term.
Vendors and Concessionaires - Quote-It-Now!
This product is specifically designed to accomodate the coverage needs of a wide variety of Vendors and Concessionaires. These classes include but are not limited to Indoor Vendors, Outdoor Vendors, Seasonal Lots, Hot Dog Vendors, News Stands, Mall Kiosks, and Christmas Tree Lots. Products and Completed Operations Coverage is provided on most classes. We also have the ability to package with Inland Marine Coverage and Property Coverage for office or warehouse locations.
Special Events (Multi Line) - Quote-It-Now!
This product is designed to provide General Liability and/or Liquor Liability coverage at short-term events. Events with up to 10,000 attendees per day are eligible. We provide automatic coverage for volunteers and temporary or leased workers. The property owner can be included as an additional insured for no additional charge.
